Surrounded by 160 wooded acres, this mountain retreat was designed to sit serenely amid the scenery yet be close to all there is to see and do. The sprawling wooden lodge, with pine floors, boasts a greatroom with an inviting stone fireplace and billards. An on-site massage can be arranged for an additional fee. Enjoy the mountain views from one of the decks. The innkeeper has a culinary degree and enjoys preparing special breakfasts such as apple & marscapone stuffed French toast and smoked trout hash with poached eggs.
This lodge offers 10 guest rooms on three different levels, each uniquely decorated in a different North Carolina theme. All rooms feature high-speed wireless Internet access, air conditioning, balcony/patio, CD player/stereo and ceiling fan. Antiques and handcrafted furnishings grace each guest room and all offer mountain and forest views.
